Please note: all our diffusers come packaged and sealed with a small plastic spill-proof stopper to prevent their contents from leaking during transport or shipping. You will need to remove the diffuser from the packaging; then carefully remove the bamboo lid from the diffuser; then remove the plastic spill-proof seal from the inside of the top of the diffuser; then carefully replace the bamboo lid back on the diffuser. Once the bamboo lid has been placed back on top of the diffuser gently tilt the diffuser upside down for 3-5 seconds to begin the diffusing process. Then you may place or hang the diffuser wherever you choose by its attached drawstring.
