All of our regular fruit butters are lightly sweetened with naturally organic sugar; all of our sugar-free butters are sweetened with naturally organic plant-based stevia. The citric preservative blend we use is plant-based and organic. Due to the composition of these products they are shelf-stable at normal temperatures for a very long time but once opened for consumption we recommend keeping them refrigerated and using the contents within 7-14 days for best results and to maintain freshness. No actual butter was harmed in the making of these spreadable fruit products.
